Jaclyn Nicole Le Grand

Scientific Coordinator and Project Manager at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB)

Dr. Jaclyn Nicole Le Grand is a scientific coordinator and project manager within the Clinical and Experimental Neuroscience (CEN) research group at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine, University of Luxembourg, where she manages two projects: CENTRE-PD (H2020 TWINNING programme) and an FNR-PEARL project. Dr. Le Grand obtained her MSc in Celluar and Molecular Medicine and Neuroscience from the University of Ottawa, in Canada and her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Franche-Comté in France. She joined the LCSB as an AFR Marie-Curie PDR Postdoctoral Fellow in 2014, focusing her research on stem cells in Parkinson’s disease and moved into her current position as a science coordinator and project manager at the same institute in 2015. Her work supports both the clinical and fundamental research goals of the CEN group as well as transfer of knowledge to build a comprehensive clinical centre for the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease in Luxembourg.
